RE: Notice of Special Meeting

The Board of Directors of Karankawa Townhouse Owners Association, Inc. is hereby providing notice of a Special Homeowners Meeting to be held on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 9:30 AM at the Galveston Country Club (Terrace Room) located at 14228 Stewart Rd Galveston, TX 77554. This meeting will be limited to two hours.

The purpose of the meeting is to vote on:

• Special assessment to fund exterior repairs and/or capital improvements (Note: for additional information, please refer to minutes of 2013 annual meeting on the Members Only web site.
• Vote on approval of Restated and Amended Bylaws to reflect processes consistent with the new laws (Note: draft copy of the proposed document can be located here on the Members Only web site.)

Although you may be intending to attend the meeting, unexpected events can happen; therefore, it is always a good idea for each of you to submit your Proxy BEFORE the meeting. The proxy will be voided if you are present at the meeting. Enclosed please find a Proxy. YOU MAY FAX YOUR PROXY TO (713) 960-1411 no later than June 18, 2013 by 5:00 PM.
